The Story of My Character

It is a good story. With a beginning, and infinite possibility among infinite possibilities. The story of this character does not have to deal with the anxieties of everyday life in the city. Public Religion was bound by propriety even  among devout men of society in times past, but remembered. Normal is not to chant a tribal label in a stewing brew between all those who refuse to believe that this does not have to be the "End Times" and that we can progress passed where their sensibilities are offended by what they do not understand.

No one knows what happens after we die, but some choose to believe in gods whose literature represents an inexplicable basis of proof that they know (or knew) the nature of existence from the human experiences where the events taking place were attributed to the god of whatever military or mob happened to inspire said literature.

can on , n. 3 the official list of the books of the Bible accepted by the Christian church as genuine and inspired. *my school dictionary

The problem isn't that the programming of a given religion is not "inspired", it just produces societal problems when non-theistic divisions crop up even in groups of the same religion. Balances of power are interpreted through theistic lenses by Man to be Man's rule for all life on earth; rules of law, life and liberty. There's a strange kind of security in not only knowing that you are safe and stable, but that you embody god or that your will and god's will are aligned somehow.

Here, the end is not the end of anything. Everything is transitions. There is no clip like the flap of scissors slamming shut. There's no sudden event. There is also no requirement of one. The things that produce this text could just as easily be cat pics. On to the next thing.

The Polymath Slacker discusses life in a more concrete nature based on reliable data about real people precisely because of the idea of Nontheism. There is a vast spectrum of conversation humans are capable of that may benefit the progress of humankind, that needs to be taking place, that has nothing in any meaningful way to do with whether or not you imagine yourself floating on clouds, walking on gold, or sexing it up with what have you when you die. Theistic leanings have no relevance to the Polymath Slacker's conversations.

Still, there's something to be said for patience and politeness. Also, irony in an invented construct accurately calculating concrete nature in reality.

This character is for everyone to take part in
