The Polymath Slacker's Guide™ to the Supreme Court Health Care Case

A few weeks ago I posted a rant in the form of a series of tweets on the HHS v FL Supreme Court Hearing on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Later, I took 18 of those tweets and distilled them into a semi-coherent editorial on the affair. What follows is the culmination of that effort, and the second installment in the Polymath Slacker's Guide™ to Everything.

Just before the HHS v FL rant, I wrote a bit about an agenda (if that is the right word), or an aspiration for the conversation of my state and my country. This and many of the rest of the posts on this blog are the result of that agenda and aspiration.

Many of the people I know possess the capability of understanding the topics discussed on this blog and on The Polymath Enterprises Forum, but they lack the ability to express themselves in a clear and direct manner. Rather than following down the well worn path of dusty old blogs and books that never get opened, I decided to go with the format that opened my eyes to my own ability to understand the world around me, and alleviate some of the stress and anxiety one faces in this world of controlled messaging. Audio.

Audio is the reason I may call myself informed on the basic happenings in the lives of people all over the world, and audio is my preferred format for holding, or joining the discussion of humanity.

Lofty goals aside, my agenda is to have as many government offices and meetings add audio downloads of meetings and hearings to their platform of community outreach, so that all people who can hear can participate in the choices made about their lives.
